The challenge with this piece was mixing a vibrant enough green to capture the intensity of the photograph. This is another of Kathryn's photos from Peru. I also love the strong diagonal of the power lines across the top.
This piece is great. The broad local colors are deceiving since there are so many colors, values, etc. in there. And you're right about the wires, but I think the division of space all around is very pleasing.
